Kassatex: What summer fashion trends are you most looking forward to?
Couper: At Couper, too much is just right!! We’re loving statement prints mixed with capsule wardrobe basics, capri pants for vintage inspired looks, white crochet, and mixing colorful feminine silhouettes with menswear inspired accessories and layering pieces.

Kassatex: Top 5 essentials to always pack for a summer weekend away?
Couper: There’s nothing more important than the perfect carry all. You’ll see us with our Raffia Crossbody from Riley Versa x Couper all summer long, filled with day to night beach coverups, a pair of versatile sunnies, our favorite sunscreen from Supergoop and a good book.

Couper: Our go to Couper pop-up playlist has been on repeat as of late. Think a mix of Leon Bridges, Olivia Dean and John Mayer.

Kassatex: Favorite summer cocktail?
Couper: During the day we’re all about a campari spritz, and we’ll keep it classic with an extra dirty Tito’s martini when the sun goes down.

Kassatex: Perfect summer day includes what three things?
Couper: Quality time with family, sunshine and a cold cocktail keeps us happy.

Kassatex: Favorite destination to visit in the summer?
Couper: Home is where the heart is– find us in Montauk!!

Kassatex: When curating a summer wardrobe, what three rules should people follow?
Couper: There are no rules in fashion. We love incorporating statement items into our everyday looks. A great pair of linen trousers make for the perfect summer foundation to add a fun top. Just be sure to focus on balancing proportions, making sure there is an element of something unexpected, and most importantly feel like yourself.

Kassatex: Poolside or beachside?
Couper: We both agree – we’re pool girls. Give us the convenience any day!

Kassatex: Beach bonfire or dining alfresco?
Couper: Dining alfresco without a doubt. Agee’s on dinner duty, Caroline’s the bartender for hire!

Kassatex: Invested: What summer wardrobe piece do you always find worthwhile to invest a little extra money in?
Couper: We’re always on the hunt for the perfect day to evening coverups. Our Summer days are usually filled with lots of activities that take us into evening, and finding a good coverup that doubles as a night out look always hits the spot.

Kassatex: What is a summer essential that everyone should buy annually?
Couper: A high quality sandal that will take you through the season from beach to bar and everywhere in between.
