Bath accessories are an easy way to add some style and flair to your vanity. Made from many different materials, finding the best way to maintain them is essential for longevity. Follow our care guide to get the most out of your bath accessories.

How to clean them?

The best way to clean your bath accessories is to simply wipe them down with a damp cloth. Avoid anything with too much texture that can scratch the surface of the accessories. For a deeper clean simply run them under warm water with a little bit of soap. Make sure to avoid harsh chemicals and never put them in the dishwasher. Once clean, make sure to dry them completely. Especially items made from wood or metal.

How to store them?

Since bath accessories are meant to live in the bathroom, they are water resistant and treated with protected coatings. However, prolonged sitting water can shorten the lifespan of these collections. Avoid keeping the items in the shower or other damp, humid areas. Any countertop, vanity, open tub, or toilet is best.

How often to clean them?

Regular use and cleaning is recommended. Wipe a damp cloth over the accessories at least once a week, even more regularly for items that are used daily, such as tumblers.

Make sure to regularly pump your lotion dispensers, especially in bathrooms that don’t get a lot of use, to prevent soap from building up.
