Whether you’re shopping for a mom, celebrating yourself, or simply embracing a spring refresh, consider this your blueprint for a beautiful Mother’s Day, start to finish.

Q&A with Azie Khoudari

Kassatex: How has your personal style evolved since becoming a mom?
Azie Khoudari: My style has evolved since becoming a mom to more casual wear, flats, and more crossbody bags. Now that I live in Miami, I lean towards simpler silhouettes and layers that breathe that still make me look put together. I do love endless summer dress season.

Kassatex: What Kassatex product instantly makes your Mother’s Day feel special?
AK: I love the idea of getting a cosmetic case or a robe. Embroidered for added bonus points.

Kassatex: What’s your go-to gift to give another mom for Mother’s Day?
AK: I love giving hand cream and cuticle creams and lip balm.

Kassatex: How do you blend fashion stylist instincts with styling your home?
AK: My fashion instincts are much faster than my home instincts so I usually defer to my BFF interior designer and forever collaborator, Ryan Korban.

Kassatex: What are your spring must-haves to feel refreshed and recharged at home?
AK: Always fresh flowers in the house, candles, fresh towels, new beach towels. Our home in Sagaponack is one of my favorite places and is a constant source of inspiration. Nothing beats a trip to the farmstand, beach, and dinner with friends alfresco while the kids run around and enjoy long nights.

Kassatex: What’s in your beach bag?
AK: The Palomino Bag with lots of sunscreen for the whole family, dry bathing suit, Path Water, Wet Ones, Bioderm Wipes, gum and Tic-Tacs.

Kassatex: Three Favorite Interior Designers:
AK: Ryan Korban, Rees Roberts + Partners, and Laura Santos.

“Obsessed with the Pepper Home collection! The design is feminine and the towel is thick, plush and absorbs so well. Huge fan. I love having this set ready for me after a long day taking care of the kids and it really brightens up any bath design.” –Azie Khoudari

Kassatex: What are you wearing this summer out east?
AK: Eterne t-shirt. The Row flip flops (the Dune Cotton Flat Sandal). Vintage Levi’s cut-offs. Prada skirts and dresses. Loro Piana sweaters.

Kassatex: Do you have a favorite Kassatex towel or bedding that feels like a little luxury every day?
AK: The Vicenza is one of my favorite bedding collections and the Erin Gates Ripple Collection. For towels, I love the Kyoto. We have had this collection for a long time so I constantly reorder, but a bit of a newer addition is the Assisi.

“I’ve been obsessed with these sheets from the start, and the new hue makes them even better. Nothing beats cool, stylish comfort!” –Azie Khoudari

Kassatex: NYC to Miami has your home decor style changed or has it evolved?
AK: My home decor has definitely changed when I came to Miami. I have recently moved into a new home that is a departure from any home I’ve ever lived in. The house is decorated clean, simple and easy, but there are a few different materials and fabrics that I might’ve not used before.

Kassatex: What’s one item you always switch out in your home come spring?
AK: During the spring, I often switch up my sheets. I enjoy trying new collections when they come in like the new collection launching this spring called the Savona. It’s a crisp percale sheet with a pintuck design similar to a men’s tuxedo shirt. And I absolutely love the new Chairish quilt and shams. They are soft yet structured and add such a fun element to any design.
